Our journal is made locally with 100 percent of the proceeds directly benefiting youth and families in East Boston and Maverick Landing Community Services (MLCS) a nonprofit that helps families with food, housing.

MLCS also helps youth to realize their full potential to create the world they want to see with makerspace and product design education and fabrication tools capable of producing products like this journal.

The covers were sourced from EcoFibers an environmentally conscious local company with green production processes. The material has the look and feel of leather but no animals were harmed in its making.

Covers are sewn by Puntada, an immigrant women’s sewing cooperative based in East Boston that is part of the Center for Cooperative Development and Solidarity (CCDS) ecosystem.

Youth design, laser cut and etch materials, make text blocks, and lead sales and end to end Maverick Makers PRO (MMPRO) operations.
Your journals comes with the story and picture about how it is made that you can choose to have placed in the first two pages of your text block or the last two.

You make also choose to insert your company values so you employees stay connected to the company culture even if they are working remotely.Your journal is also made to reduce waste.
