For Families

Dignity. Access. Stability.

Our Case Managers are trusted navigators helping Eastie community members overcome the numerous barriers that come with navigating complex systems of support. They support people through some of the most urgent and challenging systems, walk alongside clients every step of the way, acting as a final line of support when other doors have closed. Whether it’s securing housing, applying for public benefits like SNAP or TAFDC, accessing elder care and disability resources, or understanding healthcare options like Medicaid and Medicare, our innovative and experienced Case Managers ensure no one falls through the cracks.

Our Case Management Team does more than offer help—they restore hope, empower decision-making, and build the bridges people need to move forward.

Case Management Supports

Our support services are available to any current or former East Boston resident

Housing Lab

Our Housing Lab case managers Laura Villafane and Paige Thimmesch advocate with tenants experiencing housing instability in navigating existing programs to access rental and utility assistance eviction supports, and affordable housing search.

Resident and Community Services

Our Resident Services Coordinator Elba Oliva provides direct supports to residents of the Maverick Landing and East Boston community to food access, household supports, legal resources, financial management, and immigration resources.

Improving Food Access

Our food distribution program started out of true need during the COVID-19 pandemic when many neighbors were unable to safely leave their homes. Obtaining rescued produce from our partnering organization Fair Foods, our staff and dedicated volunteers with the organization Work Inc. sort and distribute roughly 10,000 bags of food per year to the community.
