Program
MLCS Grab & Go
These SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern participation in the MLCS Grab & Go text-to-order program operated by Maverick Landing Community Services ("MLCS," "we," "us," or "our"). By voluntarily initiating or opting into the program and continuing to use it, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. Program Name and Description
Program name: MLCS Grab & Go Text Ordering. The program allows participants to communicate with MLCS by text message to place or manage orders for available food, including produce and bread, and to select available pickup options. Depending on your interaction with the program, messages may include ordering prompts, order confirmations, pickup-day or pickup-location information, reminders, order or schedule changes, availability notices directly related to an order, and customer-support responses.
2. How Participation Begins
Participants may initiate the program by voluntarily sending a text message to the MLCS Grab & Go ordering number published by MLCS. The ordering workflow may ask the participant to choose produce, bread, or both and to select from available pickup days, such as Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. The program may send automated responses necessary to complete and service the participant's request.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of making any purchase where another ordering method is made available. Consent provided for this program is limited to the messaging purposes described in these SMS Terms.
3. Types of Messages
Messages may include:
· Automated ordering questions or menu selections.
· Order and pickup confirmations.
· Pickup reminders.
· Changes, cancellations, substitutions, or operational notices affecting an order or pickup.
· Responses to participant questions and requests for assistance.
· Other transactional or informational messages directly related to the participant's use of the text-ordering program.
The program is not intended to use an order-related opt-in as permission for unrelated third-party marketing or promotional messaging.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your ordering activity, the number of interactions required to complete an order, pickup reminders, service changes, and customer-support requests. You may receive recurring transactional messages while actively participating in the program.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. MLCS does not charge a separate fee for participating in the SMS program, but your wireless carrier may charge you under your mobile plan.
6. Opting Out - STOP
STOP: You can cancel SMS participation at any time by replying STOP to the program number. After sending STOP, you may receive a one-time message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will not receive additional program text messages unless you opt in again.
7. Help and Customer Support - HELP
HELP: For help, reply HELP to the program number. You may also contact Maverick Landing Community Services at info@mlcsboston.org.
8. Supported Carriers and Delivery
Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and network provider. Wireless service may not be available in all areas or at all times. MLCS does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered within a particular time.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy and Mobile Information
Your privacy is important to us. MLCS's SMS Text Messaging Privacy Policy describes the information collected through the program, how it is used, and your choices. The policy should be posted as a separate, publicly accessible page on mlcsboston.org and linked from the website version of these SMS Terms.
MLCS does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
10. Participant Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate order and pickup information and for maintaining access to the mobile number used with the program. If your mobile number changes or is reassigned, you should opt out before discontinuing use of that number. Do not use the SMS program to transmit unlawful, threatening, abusive, or harmful content.
11. Orders, Availability, and Pickup
Submitting an order request by text does not guarantee availability of any particular item, quantity, pickup day, or pickup location. Food availability may change because the program relies in part on available and rescued food inventory. MLCS may confirm, modify, substitute, limit, or cancel an order or pickup when reasonably necessary due to inventory, safety, weather, staffing, transportation, facility, or other operational conditions. Any applicable payment or pickup requirements communicated by MLCS remain in effect.
12. No Emergency Use
The SMS ordering program is not an emergency service and should not be used for urgent medical, safety, or other emergency communications. For emergencies, contact the appropriate emergency service.
13. Changes or Termination
MLCS may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS program or update these SMS Terms when reasonably necessary. The current terms will be posted publicly on the MLCS website with the applicable effective or updated date. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

15. Website Posting Note
For A2P 10DLC campaign review, MLCS should post these SMS Terms as a publicly accessible webpage on the same business domain, without requiring login or file download, and should provide a visible link from this page to the separate SMS Text Messaging Privacy Policy. The final website version should replace this posting note with the live Privacy Policy hyperlink.
