Who We Are
Maverick Landing Community Services (MLCS) is a multi-service organization in the heart of the Maverick Landing housing development in East Boston. Registering as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2007, we pride ourselves on being a trusted provider of high-quality and essential services to the neighborhood we call home.
Our Impact
We believe that real change happens when communities transform systems together. Our work goes beyond programs by tackling the root causes of inequality while building structures of opportunity, justice, and belonging.
By focusing our efforts on seven key impact areas, we create systemic shifts that open doors, strengthen resilience, and build community power.
Closing the Digital Divide
Systemic Nature: In partnership with Transformational Prison Project and Mutual Aid Eastie, MLCS links digital literacy to immigrant integration and re-entry support.
Systemic Impact: By tackling digital exclusion, MLCS removes a structural barrier to jobs, education, and civic participation, shifting who has access to opportunity in a digital world.
